A CENTURY OF SCIENCE FOR COMPLETE SKIN, COAT AND WOUND CARE

PURE TECHNOLOGY

Animal wellness is your top priority. At PureCoat, it’s ours too.

Our sprays are made from 100% Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), for the finest skin, coat and wound care available.

Scientists discovered HOCl more than a century ago- a substance that’s produced in the white blood cells of most animal species as a defense against infection. It has revolutionized wound care in recent years because it’s not only safe and gentle, but also effective against an array of harmful microbes, including parvovirus, MRSA, staph, coronavirus, and more, while completely safe, non-toxic and hypoallergenic however it’s applied.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a type of acid that forms when chlorine breaks down in water. If you hear the word chlorine and think of disinfectant, you won’t be surprised to learn that HOCl is also a potent disinfectant, yet rated food-safe by the EPA, approved for use in food prep areas. It is proven to inactivate viruses within one minute of contact time on surfaces, including skin and fur, and is a powerful treatment against a wide range of viruses, bacteria and fungi.

HOCl functions differently than other antiseptics such as alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, iodine or chlorhexidine, and it’s much safer to use on animals. Although the HOCl found in PureCoat is synthetic, it’s as safe and non-toxic as the natural HOCl produced by the body.

It works by attacking invading pathogens, breaking down their cell walls, instantly destroying them, while leaving healthy cells untouched. That’s not something virtually any other antimicrobial or disinfectant can claim.

It speeds healing. Cuts, scrapes and serious injuries heal faster by the increased oxygen flowing to tissue. HOCl also breaks down the biofilm that forms around bacterial infections. Even severe infections being treated with antibiotics will see a noticeable decrease in the time it takes to heal and recover fully.

There are no known side effects from using HOCl, whether for routine skin and coat cleaning or for wounds and insect bites. There’s no discomfort to animals or humans. Wounds are treated effectively without any burning or stinging. It’s gentle enough to be used in veterinary eye care. You can safely use PureCoat Antimicrobial sprays in and around eyes, nose, and mouth, as well as around food sources- completely safe if ingested or inhaled.
